La Voz de Galicia has published a new opinion piece on maritime law by our partner Mr Pancho Peleteiro. In this case, the subject of the article is the recent ruling by the General Court of the European Union dated 11 June. This ruling has had an extraordinary negative impact on the fishing sector in northern Spain, particularly in Galicia. This ruling highlights the fact that fishing is of minor interest to the institutions of the European Union.
